Jas has over 30 years of experience of building structures specialising in light to heavy industrial buildings. He has vast experience with the main structural materials in the construction industry, namely steel, concrete, masonry, and timber. He has extensive knowledge of superstructure and substructure design including ground improvement solutions.

Jas has worked and managed projects from inception through to completion on a larger number of industrial, educational, mixed-use developments, residential, commercial, and refurbishment with developers, design consultants and contractors. In the process has managed and led large design teams.

Over 15 years of relevant experience, providing Engineering consultancy and advice for developers within the Industrial and Logistics sector. He has built and maintained strong long-term working relationships with developers, design consultants and contractors. He has worked on projects ranging from single self-storage units to units over 1m sq. ft schemes. He has also experience of large multi-storey, mixed-use and residential developments.

He specialises in the design of earthworks, roads, below ground drainage and SuDS with a sound knowledge of substructure and superstructure design. Extensive experience in obtaining statutory approvals from the Local Planning Authority, Lead Local Flood Authority, Highway Authority, Environment Agency, sewerage undertakers and Network Rail.

Actively involved in projects from inception through to completion. Maintains communication and manages the design process between in-house design team and external consultants. Co-ordinates internal and external teams to provide sound engineering solutions to often geotechnically challenged development sites.

With over 15 years’ experience Iain has developed an extensive knowledge of substructure and superstructure design. He has considerable experience in the delivery of a diverse range of construction projects across all sectors and specialises in the Industrial sector.

Iain leads and coordinates the delivery of projects from initial concept stage, through to construction and completion. All of which ensure the successful delivery of a project.

Accomplished and competent Civil Engineer experienced in a variety of unique and technically challenging projects for key clients both in United Kingdom and Internationally. Extensive knowledge of different materials and forms of construction, along with the latest analytical tools and applications. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills have been developed. Adept in handling complex and challenging design problems, managing design team, contractor and client relationships. Self-motivated with a positive attitude, capable of operating as job leader with a proven ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Competent and proven track record at understanding new business setup and cultures.

• Proficient in problem solving all aspects of civil design and supervising projects on a daily basis.
• Competent in producing technical documentation, specifications, reports and construction stage sketches/details.
• Developing new client relationships and growing a business.
• Extensive direct management experience at a senior level, including strategic leadership, co-ordination, financial management, and staff development.
• Project management and design of conventional and design-build projects, including project development, preliminary design, detailed design, contract documents, tenders, construction supervision, contract accounts, quality control.

Simon’s particular areas of expertise are commercial, industrial and retail development. He also has in-depth knowledge and interest in environmental and geotechnical conditions and infrastructure.

Simon has extensive experience of the design and management of projects in many sectors both in the United Kingdom and overseas. He has worked in Engineering Consultancy for over 30 years He has managed large design teams on projects and is well versed in coordinating engineering designs with other professionals. He frequently acts as Funds engineer auditing new developments throughout the world.

Experience with Office Developments, both high rise and business parks with values over £100 million and structures up to 30 stories. Leisure Developments such as casinos, theme parks and sports centres, for both the private andpublic

sector. Feasibility reports and pre-purchase surveys throughout Europe. Particular emphasis on Eastern Europe with new build projects in Russia, Poland and Ukraine. Middle East and Africa. Set-up and management of offices in Dubai and Qatar. Management and appraisal of hotel and commercial projects in Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Uganda.
